Plot: A young couple, in love and facing a life-changing decision, find one seemingly ordinary July 4th split in two by the flip of a coin on the Brooklyn Bridge.

the uncertainty of the plot almost stopped all the brainwaves in my head. that trailer was BAD. it made me wonder what the hell the movie was actually about, a guy on a phone or the fact that they flip a coin everyday for something to do that gets them into trouble? VERY odd.

It looks like it plays on what guys see in a movie like action, shooting, and thrills. The other side is a woman's which is drama and romance.
But I am still really confused.

The idea for this movie appears pretty amazing. They might be wasting it on this story, but oh well. Basically, it seems to be two movies in one (Grindhouse but same characters with different events). I am guessing that the movie starts out on that bridge where JGL flips the coin. (Notice he is wearing green on the bridge and she is wearing yellow.)
In the first installment, "Mayhem in Manhattan," the characters face trouble over a phone that JGL decides to keep. (They are both wearing the color yellow.) This is the action/thriller part of the movie.
In the other installment, "Bitches in Brooklyn," the characters go home for dinner with the female character's family. She appears to be pregnant despite them not being married, and they want to keep this a secret from the family. (They are both wearing green.) This is the drama part of the movie.
So, the movie presents two different stories based on choices stemming from uncertainty. Think about the Donnie Darko Theory on time travel (parallel universes).

@Cellar Door Speak of the devil (Donnie Darko avatar).
@Syman404 Speaking of avatars featuring Jake Gyllenhaal, I believe that you have the best avatar I have ever seen.

Oh yeah, JGL is a talented kid. Mysterious skin was one of his bets films. Watch out for him!

@Vaodsi I agree. The editing is all over the place. JGL will probably steal this film, he is a good actor.
