"Spider-Man 4" to Start Filming this March

"Spider-Man 4" to Start Filming this MarchSubmit Comment
MTV News caught up with director Sam Raimi, who revealed that he is planning to start shooting "Spider-Man 4" early next year in order to make the May 6th, 2011 release date.

"We're hoping that it's the first week in March," said Raimi, adding that screenwriter Gary Ross is "working on a draft. I just gave him some notes and he's doing a rewrite right now."

While he waits for the final script, Raimi is busy putting all the other pieces together. "The production is starting to come together," he said. "I've got a production designer who is starting to design the sets and the environments that the picture will take place in. We just brought aboard Scott Stokdyk as one of the two visual effects supervisors, and I worked with him on all three 'Spider-man' pictures."

Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst have already signed on to reprise their roles, and it will soon be time to start filling out the rest of the cast. "None of the casting has really taken place, but we're starting to think about that now."

That was supposed to be "recast Kirsten Dunst."

Typos happen when you relive bad acting.

'...Raimi is busy putting all the other pieces together.' --- why? He didn't bother doing that for Spidey 3, so why start now?

im glad they keep rewritting the script, that way it gets better.maybe part 3 would've be better if they did more rewrites.i think part 4 will make up for part 3, long as raimi doesn't let the producers push him around like some little bitch.
