Liam Neeson and Russell Crowe in "Next Three Days" ThrillerPosted: October 4th, 2009 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
Liam Neeson (Taken) has joined "The Next Three Days," a thriller directed by Paul Haggis, the man behind the Oscar-winning film "Crash."
"Three Days" began photography last Friday, with Russell Crowe playing a teacher whose wife (Elizabeth Banks) is arrested for a gruesome murder she says she didn’t commit. Several years of incarceration leaves her suicidal and he plots to break her out. Neeson plays an ex-con who has broken out of jail multiple times, has written a book about it, and shows the teacher how it's done.
Brian Dennehy, Lennie James, Olivia Wilde, Aisha Hinds ("True Blood"), Daniel Stern and RZA also star in the new movie. Haggis wrote the script, which is based on the 2008 French film "Pour Elle." Pic is shooting in Pittsburgh till December.

Damn, it kind of seems like Neeson is taking a lot of acting jobs as of late... which isn't a bad thing since Neeson fucking rocks.

After Schindler's List, Liam only had a couple of movies that really made a lot of impact until his recent comeback. I'm happy for him. I just hope he has a good accountant...hehe...

My God, Neeson really is overworking himself. I thought he was filming Clash of the Titans right now as well as The A-Team.

Dear Jesus, with Neeson AND Crowe on set, expect the testosterone-meter to sky-rocket to the point where Elizabeth Banks grows a thick beard and starts to vigorously eat bacon grease (sorry, that didn't make sense, just thought I'd write something about the story). But really, this could be pretty cool, just as long as Haggis downplays any sentimental aspects of the story, unlike Crash.

''vigorously eat bacon grease''
It was absurd, but funny as hell.

Another Remake?
There is a french movie called 'Pour elle' which has the SAME plot. Diane Kruger is the wife accused of murder and the film was exhibited a few days in a french tour cinema in Mexico.
Ups, I haven't read the last paragraph, sorry.
