Plot: The world famous singing pre-teen chipmunk trio return to contend with the pressures of school, celebrity, and a rival female music group known as The Chipettes.

"$360 million worldwide take?" f*ckin' criminal!

Well, this is junk for the average prick in here - we want blood and rape. However - for the parents - that's hot - they put that sh*t in the dvd and they don't supervise the kids for 2 hours - add in there a little interactive dvd or computer game - you've got one of the year's best selling dvd.

so there is know blood and rape in this one? what a rip off

Trueman - Hollyweird only wants you dead if you pirate everything like I do. Otherwise, if you're like the other sheeps, complaining but payin' - they love you and want you to be alive as long as possible.

@scarface85-This is the movie industry suffers the way it does. Garbage like this. These are the same type of movies that made this past summer a f*ckin' train wreck. Can't wait for "The Snorks in 3-D" to blaze into the cinemas!

You're insulting a movie for children.
I took my nephew to see the first one and thought it was pretty good for what it was.

First should have been a little bit better though. What it lacked in script I felt it made up for in technical creation- lot's of work to pull off those 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit' interactions...a few impressive takes for sure.

...Jason Lee is horribly miscast though. I like him, but it sunk the film. At least the new one seems closer to the cartoon of my childhood- treating the Chipmunks as normal everyday humans without anyone commenting on them being...well...rodents.

Ummmmm...is it a surprise if it's in the trailer?

well i dunno who's greenlighting what...but it's obvious enough if you have movies like 'taken' or the first 'matrix' movie...it makes good money for a good show...btw, just saw zombieland, there were so many kids in the theaters...holy sh*t!...it's obvious that hollywood still has power to make great films...but honestly...it's gotten as bad as it could ever have gotten as well
