Video: Dennis Quaid on Gaining Weight to Portray Bill ClintonSubmit Comment
Dennis Quaid appeared on "Regis and Kelly" on Thursday to promote his sci-fi thriller "Pandorum," but also to talk about the upcoming "Special Relationship" movie. In it, Quaid will portray Bill Clinton, and in the video below you can watch him imitate the President and talk about gaining weight for the role.

"Relationship" will be a dramatization that traces former UK prime minister Tony Blair's relationships with Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. It will be set at the time of Clinton's affair with Monica Lewinsky, who will only be featured through archive footage.

Julianne Moore will play First Lady Hilary Clinton, while Michael Sheen, who has played Blair twice before in "The Deal" and "The Queen," is set to reprise the role.

Whoever is playing Hilary, they should make sure to keep health checks on it. We can't have our gorillas collapsing like Giraffes.

Michael Sheen should run for an office.

Ooh, a Tony Blair film. Well, with him, the Clintons, Lewinsky and Bush, that makes a Party of Five *ssholes. No thanks.

"you can watch him imitate the President and talk about gaining weight for the role."

Yeah, but can he handle a cigar?

i was going to watch it, but its that same damn commercial everytime!

Technically you can... cause it was in theaters... and it was filmed... with actors...

Whats with all the Dennis Quaid hate?... I for one think hes pretty much excellent... hes a working mans actor... So a lot of his films he does with little artistic integrity... but when he puts his foot forward you get great performances from him... Smart People, Traffic, Any Given Sunday... hehe.. what about Far From Heaven? He was f*cking excellent in that movie...

Yeah, I don't have an issue with Quaid either. He's often pretty much under-used. I can't believe he signed on for GI JOE. That's definitely the low point of his career.

don't forget 'innerspace'....that's my favorite of his

what is the sudden surge of films based on recent history? i think the efforts it takes to make the films themselves could be better spent actually doing something about it!

ther has to be somebody better than Quaid
Armpit writes:

Why can't Quaid play Hillary instead?
lostwarrior writes:

at triggax, exactly, even though quaid has had some duds in his day, the man can act. far from heaven is agreat example...

Nothing is sadder than the pushing 60 Quaid's hipster shag haircut.
