Creepy "Paranormal Activity" TrailerSubmit Comment
The trailer for the upcoming horror film "Paranormal Activity," written, directed, produced and edited by Oren Peli, has appeared online. Check it out below.

Plot: After a young, middle class couple moves into what seems like a typical suburban “starter” tract house, they become increasingly disturbed by a presence that may or may not be somehow demonic but is certainly most active in the middle of the night. Especially when they sleep. Or try to.

"Paranormal Activity" will kick off its run in Austin, Texas during a midnight screening of Fantastic Fest on September 24th. It will then get a limited theatrical release on September 25th.

I think this is a real good idea for this type of horror film. Not as farfetched as Blair Witch. Probably only be scary in theaters though.

WACK. Are you afraid of the dark is scarier.

Damn, a ticket to see this film mosts more than the film's production budget. That's a crime. I mean, a HI-8 camcorder cartridge costs what? Eight bucks? And a pirated copy of Adobe Premier costs nothing, so these guys stand to make a solid 52 dollars in 13 theaters in the two hours this film is given to open. I'd call that a success, I guess. Like Michael Pitt finally brushing his teeth is a success.

And what's with the title? Paranormal Activity? lol. what's next? A Stallone film titled 'Action Movie'? Usually, a title like that signals to the audience they're about to see a spoof film.

And the audience reactions are entirely fake. Either that, or they were hopped up on crank or something before they watched the film.

f*ck, I've seen scarier tampon commercials.

Oh come on mink you have to admit that looks like a fun time in if you were to see it with a bunch of people. but probably not scary when watching it by yourself.
