First Look: Shia LaBeouf in "Wall Street" SequelPosted: September 12th, 2009 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
JustJared was able to snap a few photos of Shia LaBeouf, Frank Langella and director Oliver Stone on set of the upcoming "Wall Street" sequel, which is currently filming in Central Park. Check out the pictures below.
Plot: It's 21 years later and Gordon Gekko (Michael Douglas) has finished serving his prison sentence. He finds himself on the fringe of the financial community and is cautioning Wall Street that the "end is coming" -- but nobody is listening. So Gordon becomes obsessed with trying to repair his ruptured relationship with his daughter.
LaBeouf is a young Wall Street trader who's engaged to be married to Gekko's estranged daughter. He wants to be a major player, but his mentor unexpectedly kills himself, and he thinks a villainous stock-shorting worldwide hedge fund manager (Josh Brolin) is responsible. So LaBeouf goes to Gordon saying, "I need your help", and makes a deal with Gekko who in return wants LaBeouf's help getting back with the daughter.

As being one of the BIGGEST fans IN THE WORLD of the first movie... I can NOT believe how BAD this storyline is for this movie.
Ques: Who gives a flying FUCK if tough, businessman, ex-con Gekko gets back onto talking terms with his daughter?!?! Shit LaDouche aside... who gives a FUCK about this storyline?! WHAT does getting your Kumbaya-feeling with your estranged daughter have TO DO WITH FUCKING WALLSTREET?! HAVE YOU FUCKING LOST YOUR SHIT STONE?!?!?!

Gordon Gekko and Patrick Bateman... probably two of the best wall street characters in cinema history
if this sequel comes out and it's this piece of garbage they are promoting... move Gekko out of that spot and you only have Bateman at the top

Samesies... And this makes me angry.. Oliver stones fucking retarded....
He needs to go back to his roots and make a film about the vietn... hmm.. make a film about JF.... hmmmm... Make a film about war veter.... hmmmmm... I got it... He could make a film about The World Trade Center Bombings... That seems more up his alley...
Stones done everything... what more could he do.. hes out of work and hes obviously reaching.
Im still gonna watch this movie... regardless..

This movie's gonna blow. Hard. Stone is losing relevance. Fast.
On a side note though, those puppies are adorable!

I dont have anything against Labeouf... I kind of like him in some stuff.. He's a likable guy... The stuff he does with DJ Caruso is fairly entertaining... He's a quick witted kid... And i like that... I dont however like Wall Street 2...
Next up for Stone? Any Given Monday?

Same Trig. I have not minded Shia in anything he's done (seriously... it's just a nickname we've tagged on him). But this storyline has NONE of the Shark that was Gekko that MADE the first movie (to remind ALL the Douglas received an Oscar for). This movie sounds like a Dr. Phil episode.

Yeah... Really... I didn't even need to hear the plot before I was able to tell you if it sucked shit or not...
Theres one undeniable fact about this film that will no doubt guarantee it sucks shit. ITS A SEQUEL TO WALL STREET...

Judging by the photos, and if Langella plays Shia's mentor, he kills hymself because three of his dogs disappear in the middle of Central Park, right?
