Producer Tove Christensen (The Education of Charlie Banks), who is the brothers of actor Hayden Christensen (Awake, Jumper), has been arrested for felony assault with a deadly weapon.
TMZ is reporting that the 36-year-old Tove was arrested early on Wednesday morning after reportedly dragging his girlfriend 30 feet as she clung to the side of his car after a heated argument.
Witnesses allege Tove was behind the wheel when the unidentified woman reached into the vehicle to grab her purse, and Tove hit the accelerator. The woman reportedly suffered visible marks on her arm but did not sustain serious injuries.
Tove, who was arrested at his Los Angeles home, is being held on $30,000 bail.
