"Blair Witch Project" Sequel Detail

"Blair Witch Project" Sequel DetailSubmit Comment
Eduardo Sanchez and Daniel Myrick are the two men behind the original "Blair Witch Project," which went on to earn $250 million on a $60,000 budget. Speaking to Everything Film Show, Sanchez has now revealed that he and Myrick have now completed all the story details and will soon be pitching their ideas to Lionsgate.

"Our original idea for Blair Witch was to go through all of the periods of the mythology and make a movie about them," said Sanchez. "And we wanted to start at the beginning and do the story of Elly Kedward, the original [person]... The Blair Witch is named after her."

The story may sound like a prequel, but Sanchez confirmed that it will be sequel and will follow up some 15 years after the original film's characters disappeared.

Myrick has previously told BBC News that "it will have some kind of video element in it, but it won't be a first person hand-held movie," adding that none of the original actors will return.

How about...

Instead of these 2 guys pitching this piss poor project to Lionsgate, they shove it up their ass, and fart 'til their respective heads explode.

I won't deny the 1st movie was a HUGE hit. So, enjoy your retirement. Learn shuffle board. And stop thinking that TBWP NEEDS ANOTHER MOVIE ATTACHED TO IT!!!

Yeah... the blair witch had the whole cult thing going for it for quite a while there... then they made the sequel and basically ruined anything it could have been... Way to make a third one..

I love how hollywood is so f*cking full of original ideas these days... f*cking recession.

this ought to be interesting....to see how badly this will fail i mean...blair witch had its moment of fame...doesn't need another...though they try, they really won't get any credit for it...then again, people always have the right to not watch these films...or at least, not pay to watch them

Reminds me of a story. Two poverty stricken medieval alchemists are sitting around, trying to turn lead into gold. They try everything they can think of. They use chemicals and they use lightning. Then, they do what every sucker does in frustration: they pray.

Well, good old God gets the call. He's a jovial little f*cker, a prankster on an epic scale. So he decides to have some fun. He farts, tweaks his noise, picks his feet, and then blam!, the lead turns into the brightest, clearest, most beautiful gold the two poor-as-sh*t-farmers alchemists have ever seen or dared dream. They've made a fortune. Overnight, they become fabulously wealthy.

In time, they wantonly waste their wealth. They've got little left but the miraculous story of how a large lump of lead was turned into a mountain of gold. So they go through the motions yet again. They try chemicals, they try electrocity. Then they start to pray for the second time.

God, hearing the alchemists beg and plead, says "Once is a miracle, twice is compassion, and you motherf*ckers outta know I'm not compassionate!".

@ minkowski....lol...that was entertaining...somehow i keep forgetting that because we're in a recession...and that hollywood's group of pathetic workers are getting sh*ttier by the millisecond every time they produce sh*t that isn't necessary, we get sh*t like stupid sequels and remakes/reboots/reimaginings...sh*t! lol
