Nicolas Cage has signed on to star in "Drive Angry," a revenge action movie that Patrick Lussier (My Bloody Valentine 3-D) will direct for Millenium Films.
Written by Lussier and Todd Farmer (Jason X, The Messengers), the story centers on a man (Cage) driven by rage who is chasing the people who killed his daughter and kidnapped her baby. The vendetta/rescue spins out of control as the chase gets bloodier by the mile, leaving bodies strewn along the highway.
Production is set to begin in April in Louisiana. Similar to Lussier's "Valentine" film, "Drive Angry" will also be in 3-D.
