Mike Judge Talks "Beavis and Butt-Head" Sequel Ideas

Mike Judge Talks "Beavis and Butt-Head" Sequel IdeasSubmit Comment
Mike Judge has previously stated that the more people ask him about developing another "Beavis and Butt-Head" movie, the more he wants to do it. Lucky for us he's currently promoting his new movie "Extract" and he is being bombarded with questions about the animated duo.

All these questions are forcing Judge to think about potential ideas for what would be a sequel to "Beavis and Butt-Head Do America." One of his ideas would be to bring back the characters as old men, instead of teenagers.

"I kind of think of them as being either 15 or in their 60s," he said. "I wouldn't mind doing something with them as these two dirty old men sitting on the couch."

Judge added that he wouldn't completely ignore the time that has passed in between. "At one point I thought Butt-Head might do ok on some really low-level sales job. Beavis might be landscaping."

hah. well i don't care what they do with it. live-action, animated. have them do some space odyssee adventure or something just totally out of the box. but just get it done.

just an opinion....but i'd like to see a normal title, 'beavis and butt-head do america 2'...just like that....and have them just a few years older....say like 17 or 18...still working at the same place as in the shows and the movie...still at the same school too...still flunked of course...so that way the same teacher and same principal can have a reason to still be there for the sequel...and the same 'camper'(anderson) could be there too....why can't the idea of them being in their 60s be saved for later and called 'son of beavis and butthead'...just trying to think logically here

Mad magazine did a take on this some years ago. "When Beavis and Butthead grow old"

No, this would be dumb if they brought them back as old men, cartoons never get older.

Mike judge can either talk about Office Space 2 or he can talk about how he was just getting the f*ck out of wp.

Why doesnt he just make a sequel with a flash forward scene? We've done flashbacks and that was hilarious- so why doesnt judge just do both ideas. Seeing Beavis and Butthead in their 60's would be funny- but for 90 minutes? Come on Judge you know thats a terrible f*cking idea.

Here's a clue: LET HEM ACTUALLY GET LAID!!!

We watched that series for its full run because we were waiting for the moment they'd actually get laid. Even in the movie they dont score. LET THEM SCORE AND FINISH THE DAMN CONCEPT!

I mean the concept WAS a bunch of underachieving teens who were on a never ending quest to score...so...don't ya think a good ENDING to the never ending quest to score would actually BE them getting some tail??

Call me old fashioned...

i wish they would make a King of the Hill movie, Beavis and Butt-Head being 60 would be nuts hahaha dirty old men

if they were to make it a live action film, who would you like to see play beavis and butthead? leave a comment telling me what u think

@ PrevalantMind....excellent point...he could have them getting laid into the idea i thought of for a fitting sequel....i mean they'd be at prom in high school...and get laid...and well there's plenty of great directions that they COULD go...but don't....so i'm just hoping mike judge is smarter than that

Prevalentmind, You're old fashioned.

I don't think anyone honestly needs another beavis and butthead movie...

Bring back the TV show for a season and see how it does first..

Anybody remember the Beavis and Butthead characters from the show Step-by-Step? I believe they were in more than 1 episode, but like these characters were really live action representations of the cartoon characters.

"TV show for a season"

No, bring it back for an hour, and then let them run into Cotton Hill, and he takes them to that hotel with the hookers, then they get laid.

THE END.
