Daniel Craig to Star in Psychological ThrillerSubmit Comment
Daniel Craig (Casino Royale) has committed to star in the psychological thriller "Dream House," which will be directed by Jim Sheridan (Get Rich or Die Tryin') and is set to start shooting on January 25th.

Craig plays a New York publishing executive who relocates his family to a small New England town, only to learn that their new home was the scene of a vicious murder. "Dream House" was written by David Loucka (Eddie, Borderline).

Craig is about to star in the Broadway play "A Steady Rain," by John Crowley. Hugh Jackman is his co-star.

Daniel Craig is about to relocate his family to a small New England town until he realizes that he's fallen into the plot of roughly several thousand other movies before this one.

I'm starting to think this guy needs to stick to Bond movies. He really makes some bad choices otherwise. Defiance may be one of the worst WWII movies ever made, The Invasion was retarded, and The Golden Compass made NO sense whatsoever. Where the f*ck is Layer Cake 2 (or anything half that creative) you f*cking muppet?

Do Craig and Guy Ritchie not get along? Why haven't they worked together yet? Jason Statham is getting better roles than this guy!

At least his bond movies are good.. and layer cake was amazing.. (cant help but to stay optimistic with OO7)

BULLsh*t.

He should be playing Satan in 'I, Lucifer', that f*ck!

"At least his bond movies are good.."

Yea, because Elvis taking over 60% of the water in bolivia is a great plot, right?

lol.

Correction: At least Casino Royale was good...

Oh lord the Get Rich or Die Trying guy, talk about sh*t film. Also Defiance was quite a good film I think. Good performances especially Liev's. The story was good and one that hadn't recieved Hollywood exposure. The action bits were also good.

daniel craig is doing a movie with the guy that directed "get rich or die tryin" thats when you realize he will never have a carer outside of Bond

I just want Layer Cake 2... and then he can die.

You guys do know that Sheridan also directed My Left Foot, The Boxer, In the Name of the Father, and In America, right? Just because the studio f*cked him over with his last flick doesn't mean he is a piece of sh*t. The story sounds mighty generic, though. Too bad.

The broadway play with Jackman sounds more interesting than this movie.

You know what they say in Hollywood, "You are only as good as your last film"

the dude that wrote Eddie is still getting work? what the f*ck?

@SAC - I actually liked Defiance. Not just for Craig, but also Liev (God... I'm AGREEING with TH3D4RKKN1GH7... what next... Lohan gets disease FREE?!?!). Anywhore... as I was saying...

SAC - it may not be the Craig (or a lot of other actors) are in bad movies making them bad. And... 'why don't they make better choices?' Guys... these actors want to work (even the A-List... especially the A-List... they have the biggest toys and bills!). Don't blame the Actors... blame the sh*t Hollywood hires them to act in.

Still... I think Defiance was a story that needed to be told.
