Creepy New "[REC]2" TrailerSubmit Comment
The sequel to the Spanish horror film "[REC]," which picks up immediately after the first one, has released a new teaser trailer that has a bit more footage from the movie. Check it out below.

The original film revolves around a young TV reporter and her cameraman who cover the night shift at the local fire station. Receiving a call from an old lady trapped in her house, they reach her building to hear horrifying screams -- which begin a long nightmare and a uniquely dramatic TV report.

"[REC]2" is directed by Jaume Balaguero and Paco Plaza, the people behind the original. It is set to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival next month, and has yet to secure a US distributor.

Dang I can't wait to see this and Quarantine 2!

I am with you, Waffle Man. I found both the original REC and the American remake Quarantine to be fun horror flicks. I might be a little biased in my affection towards Quarantine because the directors (the Dowdle bros) started out making films and then hitting it big in my home state of Minnesota. Always great to see a native Minny filmmaker make it to Hollywood and make it big.

YEAH! The original is back!

"and has yet to secure a US distributor."

Are you kidding me? There won't be a US distributer, just a US remake.

@Spooky...Well said, unfortunately.

The first one was great, I watched it three times and I had chills in the same scenes every time! The last 15 minutes are the best ones in a horror movie in a long time, and I hope this sequel is as good as that one. I didn't watch "Quarantine", and I don't mind.

quarantine was so bad compared to Rec. in true american movie fashion it appeals to morons and everything is OVER explained in really forced dialogue. Much like diary of the dead where they, instead of having regular conversations, just narrated what they were doing the whole movie and why.

Yeah, "Diary of the Dead" had those kind of annoying dialogues, but still it was another great Romero zombie flick. I think it's common in this kind of stories, the fake doc*mentaries ones, where characters never behave or talk the way normal people do in this kind of situations. Even "REC" had this problem, but it was so intense and fun that I didn't care about it when the movie ended.
