Lol, your f*cking right. How are these cats getting away with uploading these videos, dont they check these guys for cell phones, and cameras? James Cameron probaly has armed Israeli guards looking after his precious Avatar footage.

I just wish they'd stop calling them leaks... and just call them what they are... Promo's.

Just another case of Hollywood repeating itself. I never liked the dual sword-wielding guys in movies anyway.

One Sword Characters:
1. Conan
2. Darth Vader
3. Luke Skywalker
4. Braveheart
5. Blade

Dual Sword Characters:
1. Gay ass Mr. Fantastic as Lancelot in King Arthur (quite possibly the worst Lancelot ever!)
2. Countless bad guys in Uwe Boll movies.
3. Teenage Mutant Turtle Michelangelo
4. Resident Evil chick

That's not a good track record. Hope this is better than it looks. Van Helsing should sue.

Didn't Leonardo have swords, Mike had Nunchucks. Who gives a sh*t? Not me! HAHAHAHA!

Stephen Sommers blatantly ripped off the look of Solomon Kane and Vampire Hunter D to create the look of Vag Hellsing, so the fact they look similar is due to Sommer's thievery. Google image pictures of Solomon Kane from the old Robert E. Howard tales and Vampire Hunter D and tell me Sommers is not a thief. On the trailer footage, well, I couldn't hear anything, but the visuals lookes pretty neat. Harry on AICN gave it an early glowing review, but I'm still unsure if Basset can come anywhere close capturing the brilliance of the old Howard tales.

Yup, Van Helsing. Doesn't look too bad though.
SACdaddy writes:

@DoucheNozzle: You make some good points about Van Helsing, but did they really have to go and cast the poor mans Hugh Jackman in the lead. If you ever wanted to squash VH comparisons, don't use James Purefoy who's probably known by at least 75% of the producers in Hwood as "Ya know, that guy who looks like Jackman, only not as cool."
DoucheNozzle writes:

SACdaddy, you are right about that, but I just was getting pissed off when people were saying "Van Hellsing should sue" and sh*t like that when in fact Van Hellsing's look was stolen from Solomon Kane. I just didn't want to see Sommers getting any credit for his Van Hellsing costume design.
DoucheNozzle writes:

Oh, yeah, SACdaddy, thanks for recommending the Priest comics to me, as they were quite awesome. I would recommend that you try to read the old Solomon Kane stories by Robert E. Howard (creator of Conan the Barbarian) because of the incredible writing prowess of Howard while telling a kickass story about a stoic Puritan who turns into an ass-kicking slayer of witches, demons, and other spooks.

@SAC - love your 1-Sword, 2-Sword post...lol.
BlueMobius writes:

Guys, read Solomon Kane...this "leaked" footage (probably leaked by studio heads, btw) is not too far off the mark. It's way updated but they got the look of the guy right and the tone is right (it's Howard, after all). I'm more concerned that they'll go light on the fact that he's a Puritan. Heavy, heavy religious themes in those stories.

haha, retarded comments here. This movie is clearly better than van helsing. Get some knowledge, use google, and then tell me again who ripped of wo.
