Rogen and Apatow Not Happy with Heigl's "Knocked Up" Comments

Posted: July 31st, 2009 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
Rogen and Apatow Not Happy with HeiglSubmit Comment
While promoting "Knocked Up" in 2007, actress Katherine Heigl said that the film is "a little sexist," adding: "It paints women as shrews, as humorless and uptight, and it paints the men as goofy, fun-loving guys. It was hard for me to love the movie."

Now, during an interview with Howard Stern, Seth Rogen and director Judd Apatow showed that they were not happy with Heigl's comments. They were also confused by Heigl's new "The Ugly Truth" movie. "That [movie] looks like it really puts women on a pedestal in a beautiful way," Rogen joked with Apatow adding: "I hear there's a scene where she's wearing underwear with a vibrator in it, so I'd have to see if that was uplifting for women."

Apatow figured Heigl was "probably doing six hours of interviews and kissing everyone's ass, and then just got tired and slipped a little bit." Regardless, Rogen said: "I didn't slip and I was doing f*cking interviews all day too. I didn't say sh*t!"

After the remark, "[You think] at some point I'll get a call saying 'Sorry, I was tired...' and then the call never comes,'" Apatow added.

Katherine Heigl is hypocritical bitch. Yeah, Knocked Up was sooo sexist; painting her character as a successful, hard-working, gorgeous, (relatively) responsible person, in contrast to her fat slob male counterpart.

Knocked Up was the only decent movie she ever starred in. 27 Dresses and The Ugly Truth are puketastic, and Grey's Anatomy was a poor man's Scrubs.

Heigl is seeming more and more like a bitch every day. but rogen is just as bad

Heigl didn't deserve to be in that movie, I hate her as a person, she seems like a total bitch in real life, and didn't deserve to be associated with the great people in that film.

Howard Stern is the sh*t. I love his show on sirius. Its so much better now that its unrated and not hampered by the FCC

f*ck... she needs a nice hard one in the crapper and needs to lighten up!

She is sure painting some broad strokes here. This movie did NOT depict women OR men (in general) in ANY way. It was only about the characters... IN THE MOVIE!!! Does she think that movie is a reflection on the world (ALL women and ALL men)?! Does she think any movie SHE is in holds THIS kind of influence?!?!?

Get a grip lady... serious... talk to your Shrink about this!

Completely agree with Seth Rogen. Katherine Heigl is was trying to play her feminist character so the masses wouldn't think she's just another dumb celebrity blonde but this didn't help. If she wants to say that then you can say that Knocked Up was sexist towards men, portraying them as stoners, immature, losers.

I don't see how 2 sex scenes with Seth Rogen were uplifting for women either lol.

Apparently that 'cruel' and 'mean' 17 hour day she worked on Grey's was all her fault, she bites the hand that feeds her like no other.

Heigl is a dumb bitch. She needs to remember where she came from and stop acting like she is the sh*t. to me she is annoying as hell. Heigls show and movies suck camel d*cks. knocked up was great but she bout ruined it for me.

I thought her Very best performance was in "Under Siege 2: Dark Territory"
Her acting was almost on par with Segal's...
