Joss Whedon's "Cabin in the Woods" PostersPosted: July 24th, 2009 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
Three teaser posters for the upcoming "The Cabin in the Woods" film have appeared online. While the art on them is exactly the same, each poster shows common behavior of characters in horror movies. Check all three posters out below.
The film will revolve around two "white collar" characters who lure five college-type kids to a cabin in the woods. The cabin is rigged with carefully selected props, gimmicks and cameras that allow the overseers to spy and interfere with the kids. The mysterious organization behind this scheme is doing this in order to hold a sweepstakes on just how everything will pan out.
"The Cabin in the Woods" stars Chris Hemsworth, who at the time of casting was only known for his "Star Trek" role. Since then, Marvel has cast him at the title character in "Thor." "Cabin" is scheduled to hit theaters on February 5th, 2010.

Sooooo, what the flee is it all about? According to Slashfilm, nothing either original or inspiring.
"From the title I thought this was a Unabomber biopic"
Now THAT would be worth the anticipation.

Flee? Flee?? Yes, flee. No, I meant 'hell'. Damned advert for "The God That Wasn't There" distracting me.

Good for you. Make sure you say it while putting away your Power Rangers. That'll make the moment even MORE hilarious. I'm laughing right now. I promise.

^^Naw thats too wordy and you dont laugh at yours...the thing about this film is that there IS NOTHING new and original in concept- why must there be? The originality comes from the execution, tone, and overall energy. You put lots of creativity into a concept that doesn't deserve such treatment and you end up with great films.
