Matt Damon's Funny "The Informant" TrailerPosted: July 1st, 2009 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
The trailer for the upcoming Matt Damon comedy/thriller "The Informant," based on Kurt Eichenwald's 2000 best-seller "The Informant: A True Story," has been released. Check it out below.
In the movie, the US government decides to go after an agri-business giant with a price-fixing accusation, based on the evidence submitted by their star witness, vice president turned informant Mark Whitacre (Damon), who is the highest-level whistle-blower the FBI ever managed to flip.
The new movie is directed by Steven Soderbergh, who is re-teaming with Damon after having worked together on all three "Ocean's" movies. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on October 9th.

to be honest, i think Philip Seymour Hoffman would have been more funny. dont get me wrong, i like damon's work, but in this kind of comedy, hoffman would work wonders.

That was funny in a very very sill dry manner. Anyhow should be decent on Blu. I just can't do another Burn Before Reading in theaters, so to speak.

sad that they turned this into a comedy...the true story is about the evil shits at archer, daniels, midland and the evil shit that helped to uncover their price fixing and corporate strong arming...

OMG what the fuck is this!! Matt Damon looks weird and unappealing in this movie...and I haven't even seen the trailer yet!!! Stick to the Bourne films Matt!!!! This film however doesn't look as unappealing as Year One.

@bacci40, they had to make it a comedy to appeal to the masses(I know, sad). To be honest Americans really don't give a fuck anymore, notice how gas prices have started climbing again? But people are changing their Twitter pictures green to support Iran so they think they are affecting the world some how(huge eye roll). Unless you can do it from a computer Americans really don't care.
