Gruesome "Thirst" TrailerPosted: June 18th, 2009 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
A new restricted trailer for the upcoming horror/thriller "Thirst" has appeared online, featuring lots of violent and gruesome scenes. Check it out below.
Plot: Sang-hyun is a priest who cherishes life; so much so, that he selflessly volunteers for a secret vaccine development project meant to eradicate a deadly virus. But the virus takes the priest, and a blood transfusion is urgently ordered up for him. The blood he receives is infected, so Sang-hyun lives – but now exists as a vampire. Struggling with his newfound carnal desire for blood, Sang-hyun's faith is further strained when a childhood friend's wife, Tae-ju comes to him asking for his help in escaping her life. Sang-hyun soon plunges into a world of sensual pleasures, finding himself on intimate terms with the Seven Deadly Sins.
The new film is directed by Park Chan-Wook, who is known for his vengeance trilogy (Sympathy for Mr Vengeance, Oldboy, Sympathy for Lady Vengeance). "Thirst" is scheduled to hit theaters on July 31st, in limited release.

Awesome. I have seen the other two Vengeance films, but OldBoy was amazing. Also it's refreshing to see vampires that don't sparkle.

That looks badass! I can't wait until the next American horror genius director comes around, this generation there is only that douchebag Eli Roth who never gets any of his fucking projects done. Oh well, I don't mind reading subtitles so foreign horror will do just fine in the meantime.
