John Stamos Working on "Full House" Movie

John Stamos Working on "Full House" MovieSubmit Comment
NYDailyNews is reporting that John Stamos is conceptualizing a feature film based on his "Full House" TV show. "I'm working on a movie idea, but it wouldn't be us playing us," he explained. "I'm not 100% sure, but it would probably take place in the first few years [of the 1987-95 series]."

Stamos added that he sees James Franco (Spider-Man, Pineapple Express) playing his old role of Jesse Katsopolis. "I see Steve Carell as [Bob Saget's character] Danny Tanner and Tracy Morgan as [Dave Coulier's] Joey Gladstone because he's funny," he said.

"Full House" TV show is about a sports broadcaster later turned morning talk show host Danny Tanner, whose wife is killed by a drunk driver. He needs help raising his three little girls, so he asks his rock musician brother-in-law, Jesse Katsopolis and his comedian best friend, Joey Gladstone to move in with them.

John... leave the glue-sniffing alone! You've already lost your wife (Rebecca-Mystique), and now you're considering this?! You're naming BIG STARS that would only touch a 'Full House Movie' (maybe) if (possibly) the Olsen Twins were serving up pate de foie gras from their naked bodies whilst laying on the crafts services table. Aren't you too busy these days anyway combing your hair... you washed-up, douche-bag, f*cking loser!!!

I think the true back story is Danny's wife, killed by the drunk driver that was Jesse's character (her brother). They had an on-going incestuous relationship since childhood, and now that she calved a few puppies with Danny, felt she didn't need to be poking her brother anymore. And Jesse told her if she told Danny that he would call for a paternity test of the children to prove that this boinking brother n' sister due were the true parents (and not Danny). She called his bluff and tells Jess she's going to come clean and tell Danny everything because she loves him too much. She zooms off in her Prius with Jessee in hot pursuit. Jessee knowing his friendship with Danny is coming to an end and the bum sex with his sister certainly is... so he t-bones her (and not in the good way) with his Hummer (irony is a bitch). Fade to cemetery (ext. Danny sobbing on Jesse's shoulders as he eyes up his young nieces over his grieving brother-in-law's shoulder and gives them a wink with that 'oil up biaches... your ass is next' look). Fade to black, 'Who wants to live forever' by Queen music plays up... roll the credits. End of movie. NEXT: 'Full House - Uncle Jesse's Rampage!' - DON'T MISS IT!

@Ranger: Lol, that's really a crazy story, but yet it's more creative than anything else coming out of Hollyweird these days. Kudos

Haha this would be hilarious. Bob Saget has even said he wanted to make an R-rated Full House movie.

If they treat this with a schlock camp sensibility it'll suck. If they treat it more like a serious family film with heart and a few tear-jerking moments, it could be very good. The concept of the original is sound and this is a remake I wouldn't actually mind seeing (considering we're obviously going to be forced to watch remakes anyway).

This needs to be a porno like they did with the brady bunch.
Ranger writes:

Well for sure the twins should have an incestuous relationship with one another, and once a week they have to 'earn' their allowance from Daddy.
Ranger writes:
on June 6th, 2009 at 9:21:44 PM

I know both twins weren't on the show at the same time... but they could easily write in some... found the other twin in a basket on their front step or found her hooking on the streets were they to actually go ahead with this crap.

those actors would match those roles, but i still can't imagine that a full house movie would be very good. but who knows, right?

i think there's only one problem with this....everybody is too old....if they wanted to make this a movie, they should have done it when it was in its final season or something....not wait YEARS where everybody is bringing back popular titles and then killing them
