Two Actors in Talks for New "Scream" Trilogy

Two Actors in Talks for New "Scream" TrilogySubmit Comment
Back in February, we learned that "Scream" trilogy writer Kevin Williamson was trying to sign a deal with the Weinstein Company to making a new trilogy in franchise. It was said that he would continue the story rather than do a reboot.

Entertainment Week has now learned that Williamson has already approached Courteney Cox Arquette and David Arquette to reprise their roles as Gale Weathers and Deputy Dwight 'Dewey' Riley.

Never Campbell was said to be in-talks, but no word yet on her involvement.

Ok, so after three films surviving and finally overcoming, we will have them killed in the first scene of the new film.... If Williamson had the talent to write the first (and quite good) trilogy, why doesn't he effort to do something new??? Not like Cursed PLEASE!!!

What is there left to tell in this storyline? They've beat it over the head. Do something original Kevin Williamson.

Why the hell would we want a new Scream trilogy?

Gale or Dewey should have been killed off in the 3rd movie. And what is Neve doing these days that she can't get on board? The only thing she's known for is Scream. That and the Wild Things scene with Richardson.

David Arquette = most pathetic talent in Hollywood. The only good thing he's done is Courteney.

Hollywood needs to die and let something else take over that actually has some fresh ideas instead of these gay-ass reboots and remakes (Star Trek technically doesn't count).

i just talked about this yesterday, and i remember seeing this article....but my thoughts haven't changed....it's f*cking stupid...what serial killers are left?...billy's dad?...f*cking pathetic...sidney has an unknown sister that's trying to kill her because she got mom's love??....fail....seriously let's start a cult and beat the sh*t out of some of these people....they're trying to make money off of us hard workers off of BULLsh*t!!!

AJWPProfile writes:

It's Neve Campbell...Typo I suspect she was the main charachter in the first 3 Screams but I thought the 3rd scream killed the franchise for ever.

Bwtween: Paquin, Cameron, Reynolds, Shatner, Neve, and Winnie the Poo (named after Winnipeg, Manitoba), the Canadians are sure getting their fair share of the media in Hollyweird lately.

And Courteney should have a set of 'C's' (minimum) installed.
