No More "Charlie's Angels" for McG

Posted: May 22nd, 2009 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
No More "CharlieSubmit Comment
In January, Drew Barrymore revealed that a third "Charlie's Angels" film was already being talked about and that the idea was to introduce a fourth Angel and once again have a male villain. Rihanna is being rumored to be the fourth Angel.

Now, during the "Terminator Salvation" press junket, director McG was asked whether he would return to the franchise that got him his start.

"I haven't thought about it. I'm trying to grow and work in genres that I'm most comfortable working in," he told Mania. "I got started in Charlie's Angels, and I wish them every success with another sequel, but these are the films that I grew up feeling very passionate about: The Terminator. Blade Runner. The Kubrick pictures."

Uh oh! Hope that doesnīt mean he is planning on remaking 2001 and a clockwork orange. Because that would clearly lead to... TERMINATION!

I like how he threw in.."oh and Kuberick pictures". It's like saying - I really like milkduds, mcdonalds oh yeah and caviar.

Rihanna is a good call... she can do her own stunt and fight scenes. And I'm pretty sure Farrah won't be the 4th Angel... oh, wait...

They should ONLY let this guy direct Charlies Angles straight to dvd movies and keep him away from any films as important as Terminator.

Why do people hate McG so bad? I'm not a fan, I just wonder what he did to make everyone go completely apesh*t. Salvation wasn't great, but it wasn't terrible. Wolverine is worse. Too many people act like they expected this movie to compare to Terminator 2. Guess what, guys? You expect too much out of movies. If anyone on here can make something better, please go do it, or shut your f*cking mouths. It's annoying to hear people hate on EVERYTHING and EVERYONE all the f*cking time. Get lives or get directing gigs. It's that simple.

To: Blank - I was going to say the exact thing myself - 'You expect too much out of movies.' I don't think people's standards are that high... I just think sometimes they're unreasonable. And you're right... there's always the option for haters to go out to Hollyweird themselves and give it their best shot.

McG makes the studios money. That's the biz in 'Showbiz' folks... and that's all that matters, finance before form (even Indie flicks have to turn a profit)... it's always been like that... it'll always be like that.

McG want make a superhero movies like Flash or Captain Marvel or X-Men First Class

In other words he f*cked up one franchise let him concentrate on f*cking up a new one. He can only work one franchise at a time after all.
