The trailer for the upcoming "Tetro" drama, directed by Francis Ford Coppola ("The Godfather" Trilogy), has appeared online. Click on the link below to check it out.

Plot: Fresh faced and naive, 17-year-old Bennie (Alden Ehrenreich) arrives in Buenos Aires to search for his older brother who has been missing for more than a decade. The family had emigrated from Italy to Argentina, but with the great musical success of their father Carlo, an acclaimed symphony conductor, the family moved from Argentina to New York.

When Bennie finds his brother, the volatile and melancholy poet Tetro (Vincent Gallo), he is not at all what he expected. In the course of staying with Tetro and his girlfriend Miranda, the two brothers grapple with the haunting experiences of their shared past.

"Tetro" has apparently been picked up for distribution and is scheduled to hit theaters on June 11th, in limited release.

Vincent Gallo is probably the best actor of his generation besides Johnny Depp...it's just the guy is so f*cking madhouse weird in real life. Can we just burn all prints of The Brown Bunny now that Coppola took him off Hollywood's blacklist?

i showed my new room-mate "Apocalypse Now", that mother f*cker didnt say a word about it for 10 minutes after the movie until i asked what he thought about it. god damn. im a 19 year old college freshman and im disgusted about how my generation doesnt know sh*t about good movies. f*ck'em

Then again it did take 3 re edits and 3 decades of re issues before Apocalypse Now was the 'masterpiece' it claims to be...which is it is in my eyes...now...but before the directors cut and Redux this thing was only a beach scene. Then again Blade Runner is in the same boat...ahh WTF- they're masterpieces now so lets not complain...but how many other movies would be masterpieces if 3 decades of post production was put into it?

you dont have to be sarcastic. francis ford coppola put alot of his time and money into a movie he had to make. that kind of ambition in film-making is the reason why i love films. im sure anyone (including yourself) can see that

@ jdm42789 - What's wrong with Youth Without Youth? I really liked that movie and I'm super critical. @ PrevalentMind - Brown Bunny is an art piece. It's not for commercial audiences. @ autiger10 - That is sad, but at least you know.

how is it sad? that sh*t is the bomb. quality action, real drama, amazing story and script, great cast, and even better time-frame location during the most f*cked-up period in america (my relatives tell me alot). so how is my understanding of the will of a film maker like francis ford coppola to make a movie he wrote, produced, and directed (not to mention helped with the music along with his brother carmine coppola) sad? f*ck, im not saying i f*cking love him, im saying that he's a great inspiration to young film-makers to do w/e they need to do to make their "masterpieces." you johnny neat, need to get off my back
