Bruce Willis in Talks for Three Action Films

Bruce Willis in Talks for Three Action FilmsSubmit Comment
THR is reporting that Bruce Willis is in negotiation to star in three more action films, including "Inventory" thriller, the CIA tale "Red" and the mob biopic "Scarpa."

In "Inventory," Willis, who is in negotiations for the role, would play a detective on the trail of a murderer.

In "Red," Willis would portray a former black-ops agent who has gone into retirement but is forced back into action when a high-tech assassin threatens him and his girlfriend. Erich and Jon Hoeber are writing the screenplay, which is based on the WildStorm/DC Comic.

In "Scarpa" Willis will play the title character Greg Scarpa, an FBI informant who worked deeply undercover in New York's Columbo family. The biopic is set to be directed by "Training Day" helmer Antoine Fuqua.

Willis is also attached to a host of other action films, including the Kevin Smith-directed buddy action/comedy "A Couple of Dicks," likely to be his next movie, and Lionsgate's adaptation of the "Kane & Lynch" video game. He next toplines the sci-fi actioner "Surrogates."

Waffle you can't see any likable characters coming out of this? Bruce Willis could play Jeffrey Dahmer and make him likeable, his charm is the whole reason why he's able to put so many sh*tty movies over. I'm not saying any of these will be decent necessarily, but it's not like we're talking about John Cena.

I read "The Surrogates" after finding out they were making a movie out of it and it was pretty good. It should do well with it's fall release date. Hope they alter the ending a little, the one in the GN was kind of abrupt and awkward. As for the rest of these I will wait for the trailers, but come on! It's Bruce Willis! He always gets my money.

The difference could be the level of smirk. Acting not required.

Space_Ghost11 thank God you put "because it will be hilarious" or else that would have been the GAYEST comment ever! And damn Hollywood sure loves that whole "Ex-assasain/operative pulled back in" move

I think he still has it in him to do another Die Hard or two. Die Hard 4 was the best movie I saw that year. McClane is a great character and I would love to see him again.
