Brand New "Wolverine" ClipSubmit Comment
A brand new clip from the upcoming "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" has appeared online. It features Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) having one of his nightmares and stabbing everything around him. Click on the link below to check it out.

Leading up to the events of "X-Men," the new spin-off movie tells the story of Wolverine's epically violent and romantic past, his complex relationship with Victor Creed, and the ominous Weapon X program. Along the way, Wolverine encounters many mutants, both familiar and new, including surprise appearances by several legends of the X-Men universe.

"X-Men Origins: Wolverine" is directed by Gavin Hood (Tsotsi, Rendition) and is scheduled to hit theaters on May 1st.

I feel this being a bigger bust in theater's more than "The Happening" It looks like more "Daredevil" than the first two X-Men.

Based on the previews I think this movie is not going to be very good. It looks like it's saturated with characters and it looks to bright and shiny to reflect any real world basis. If any character deserved to have a darker toned movie it is definitely Wolverine. This just looks like it's going to be a fluff fest. Not Hugh Jackman's fault...just the writers and director.

I have read and watched everyone over this film. Frankly its like this guys. Nothing in the movie is based by any means over the first 3 X-Men films. You could say this is just a remake (hulkish style) beginning story and were lucky to get Hugh to play his character. As for the movie itself, a joke all the info is terribly wrong (He was not part of any war except ww2). Its a waste of talent if this movie had any and time for Fox. Their just bleeding hard for cash and recognition due to there blunder of so many things (Watchman, which sucked anyway).

Us nerds know how much Fox has f*cked up the X-Men films but the average movie goer loves these movies. Two guys I work with, one 22 and the other 31, have never read the comics and have watched the work print. They were absolutely amazed and are both going opening day to see it. The older one had two small children and hasn't seen a movie in the theaters since The DaVinci Code, and he is going to this opening day. I think that says a lot about the audience Fox is catering to. I think I am going to be disappointed when I see this but obviously many people won't be.

Watched the first X-Men again the other day. There were some good lines. I don't think this is going to stack up, but the inevitable sequel might.

This movie is such a disappointment (not that I've seen it) They bend Deadpool over HARDCORE style. (not that I would know) And yes, none of the history is anywhere near correct. Seems to me like all comic book movies should be done by only Christopher Nolan, Jon Favreau, and Zack Snyder. Watchmen, Iron Man, and TDK set the bar insanely high for real comic book movies. Leave it to FOX to lack the ups
