"Twilight" Franchise to End in 2011Posted: April 21st, 2009 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
Summit Entertainment is looking to complete its "Twilight" film series sooner rather than later. With "New Moon" now filming in Vancouver and its sequel "Eclipse" already deep in the planning stages, an individual close to the production revealed that work on the fourth and final film in the series, "Breaking Dawn," will start in late Spring 2010.
The franchise is trying to avoid the "Harry Potter" films, which is why the second installment will be released in November, the third installment will be released in June of 2010, and the fourth installment will likely appear in theaters in November of 2011. Summit originally planned to stretch out the series through 2013.
There are only four "Twilight" books and unless author Stephenie Meyer somehow prolongs the franchise, the whole thing should be over in just two years.

I've heard from some fans of the series, even die-hards, that Breaking Dawn is so bad it shouldn't even be adapted to film. Also any teen vampire movie that doesn't include Gerard McMann's Cry Little Sister = fail.

the sooner the better. once they're over all the girl's obsessed with some kind of fantasy man that doesn't really exist can jump back into the real world and realize that no matter how hard they wish for this "edward" he'll never be real.
