"28 Months Later" Still in the Works

"28 Months Later" Still in the WorksSubmit Comment
Variety is reporting that 20th Century Fox is planning to put an end to Fox Atomic, which was responsible for the studio's comedies and genre films like "28 Weeks Later," "The Hills Have Eyes II," "Turistas," "The Rocker," "The Comebacks," "Miss March" and "12 Rounds."

Even though most of the film's have failed to become big hits, Fox Atomic was hoping to turn things around with two potentially comercial movies that include Hayden Panettiere's "I Love You, Beth Cooper" and Megan Fox's "Jennifer's Body." Both projects will now be released by 20th Century Fox.

And what about Fox Atomic's future films? Apparently, both "28 Months Later" and "Accidentes" will also move to 20th Century Fox. "28 Months Later" is a continuation of the zombie franchise launched by director Danny Boyle. "Accidentes" is a potential star vehicle for Sacha Baron Cohen, in which he will play an ambulance chasing lawyer who becomes a working class folk hero. Peter Baynham, who shared an Oscar nomination for writing "Borat" with Baron Cohen, will pen the screenplay.

I didn't like the second one but I will give the third a chance. Hopefully the will keep the American actors to a minimum since it will probably be set in France.

28 WEEKS LATER WILL HAVE TO BE ON A BIG SCALE, AT THE END OF 28 WEEKS LATER, THE INFECTED MADE IT TO PARIS, I BET IN THE THIRD THE ENTIRE EASTERN CONTINENT WILL BE f*ckED AND IT WILL HAVE TO BE A BITTER WAR WITH AMERICA AND EURASIA

but that's when more sequels will come...next it'll be 28 years later, then 28 decades later, then 28 centuries later....just an obvious guess for what titles they'd give it

@ jaksyn - thats along the lines I was thinking.] I loved the first two, especially the first one. Such a dark set of films, really some of the best zombie films ever made.

As long as the 28 something later franchise is intact who cares about the rest? I don't. Now confirm Boyle in the 28 Months Later film and we're good.

Watch, they'll give it prequels too. Call it 28 month before. 28 weeks before. 28 days before...and so on. Who knows it can go into 28 seconds...lol Great, lots you can do with the title
