Video: "The Spirit" Alternate EndingPosted: April 14th, 2009 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
The DVD/Blu-ray release of "The Spirit" is set to hit stores today (April 14th) and now thanks to MTV, we have the film's alternate ending. It is an unfinished scene, which is why it is only a storyboard animation that is narrated by The Spirit himself, Gabriel Macht. Check out the video below, but keep in mind that it may contain spoilers.
The Frank Miller-directed film revolves around a former rookie cop who returns mysteriously from the dead to fight crime from the shadows of Central City. Samuel L. Jackson stars as the Octopus, his arch-enemy on a mission to wipe out Spirit's beloved city as he pursues his own version of immortality.
"The Spirit" turned out to be a disaster at the box office, earning only $19 million domestically.
