It was already announced that Cillian Murphy will re-team with his "Batman Begins" director Christopher Nolan on the upcoming "Inception" film. And now Michael Caine may also be joining cast, in his fourth Nolan film afer "Batman Begins," "The Prestige" and "The Dark Knight."
"I think there might be a part for me," Caine told MTV News. "I don't think [Nolan]'s going to make a picture without me." But he's not 100% sure if it is a guaranteed role. "I will know this week if I'm going to be in it," he added.
The plot of the new movie is being kept a secret, having only been described as "a contemporary sci-fi thriller set within the architecture of the mind." Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen Page and Marion Cotillard are also in the cast.
James Franco was also reportedly in talks to appear in the film, which is currently slated for a 2010 release, but parted ways due to scheduling conflicts with his Universal comedy "Your Highness."
