Video: Mickey Rourke Fights Chris Jericho at "Wrestlemania 25"Submit Comment
Back in January, Mickey Rourke (The Wrestler) announced that WWE offered him the chance to show up in this year's "Wrestlemania 25." Rourke stated that the professional wrestling industry has been extremely supporting of his portrayal of the sport, which is why he was considering showing up at the event.

He had a few words of warning though: "Chris Jericho, you better get in shape, because I'm coming after your ass."

A few days later on "Larry King Live!," Larry King surprised Rourke with Jericho, who was via satellite. Jericho had nice things to say about "The Wrestler," but also told Rourke that he may get what he wished for. Rourke, meanwhile, was doing his best to avoid confrontation.

"Wrestlemania 25" took place yesterday and Rourke came as an attendee to enjoy the show. After Jericho defeated three opponents, he pointed to Rourke and invited him into the ring. Watch the video below to see what happened (from 5:20 mark till 11:38).

Why do people who don't like something still watch it? And why would coldplayesence name himself after a band so terrible? What is wrong with the world?!?!

i do synthetic, i also remember how awesome the NWO was, you forgot about Golddust haha. bret makes me proud to be canadian. and back then it was more real. f*ckin owen passin away, and Bret getting fired. that sh*t was as real as wrestling ever got. when he spat on vince. that was not acting
synthetic1985 writes:
on April 6th, 2009 at 11:32:44 PM

oh of course not...i would've done the same to vince if i were bret...and what was more sad was even after owen hart died people were being very cruel to bret and not giving him any sympathy or sorrow...just disrespect basically...and that sh*t's not cool
Blank x2 writes:
on April 6th, 2009 at 11:46:19 PM

Just because it is your choice doesn't make it cool or smart. Don't be mad. And if it is a nickname, I'm sorry you have to be associated with Coldplay. You, like them, are gayer than Elton John with his rainbow hand up Liberace's ass.
synthetic1985 writes:
on April 7th, 2009 at 12:36:14 AM

Blank x2...can't blame him for that though...i mean look at what adam sandler did with boy george's music?...billy madison, wedding singer especially lol...not all gay guys make bad music...and elton john is more gay than coldplay...hey that rhymed

People, it was all planned in the first place. You all act like every single wrestling fan believes it to be real 24/7. Some of us just take it for what it is and watch it because it's entertaining. I was at Wrestlemania, and it was pretty cool to see Rourke there. I know it was rigged, and I know that it is all fake. It doesn't matter to me, or to 90% of WWE fans. WWE is sports "entertainment." Take it for what it is, whether you think it's crap or you like it, and shut the hell up. It's like watching a Michael Bay movie, it isn't supposed to be the most moving, realistic or emotional thing in the world. We are just meant to be entertained by it.
