Video: The Pussycat Dolls Remix Slumdog Millionaire's "Jai Ho" Posted: March 31st, 2009 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
"Slumdog Millionaire" swept the Oscars this year, winning a total of eight awards, including for Best Picture and Best Song. The Best Song award was for "Jai Ho," which has now been remixed by The Pussycat Dolls. Check out the group's music video below to see a cell phone product placement, lots of Indian garments and some terrible/awkward dancing, which apparently involves throwing your fist everywhere. [via /Film] According to IndiaTimes, lead singer Nicole Scherzinger didn't want to make a new version of the song, because she believes the original song was already amazing. " I was scared, I was afraid to let people hear it, I really didn't want to do it," she said. " I didn't want to recreate Rahman's work." This is an offense for Indian people, if I were indian I definatly wouldn't like to see a buch of american crapy singers, dressing like indian women and making a remake of a fantastic song (that got ruinned because of them), so f*ck off Nicole because u suck! And u're right u should never let people hear such an awful thing like this!

They're not being offensive though- the dot on their head is not a mocking of culture- its just the laser sight I have on my d*ck.
