Leonardo DiCaprio is a Hitman in "Button Man"Posted: March 31st, 2009 by WorstPreviews.com Staff

Leonardo DiCaprio has reportedly set his sights on the comic book movie "Button Man," which was previously set up at DreamWorks back in January 2006. Production Weekly [via IGN] claims DiCaprio will star in the film as hitman Harry Exton.
"Button Man" is based on a 2000 AD graphic novel of the same name by John Wagner and Arthur Ranson. The movie will reportedly be adapted from the first installment, subtitled "The Killing Game." 2000 AD provides the following synopsis for the book:
"Harry Exton is a professional killer -- a former soldier, he left the military to offer his services as a mercenary in various Third World engagements, But soldiers-for-hire were a dying breed and the work was drying up. So Harry returned to England, and civvy street. Until a friend tells him about The Killing Game. Modern-day gladiatorial contests — man against man, usually to the death. A game of murder played for high stakes. The games are arranged by mysterious backers known as the 'Voices'; disembodied voices on the other end of a telephone, telling you where to go to, who to meet. A player can either become very rich or very dead, very quickly. Harry decides to become a player. A Button Man. For a professional killer like Harry, the rewards are plentiful — but once the game begins, will he be able to walk away?"
John Wagner also created "Judge Dredd" and wrote the graphic novel "A History of Violence," both of which have been turned into movies.

I like Leo, think he is a great actor even if he was missing till late, but he doesn't seem to fit here in this role. Sounds like bad casting considering but I guess he has the money and clout to override that thought.

Leo would need to bulk up big time to pull this off.

If he plays a badass like he did in The Departed then fucking do it to it!! the plot sounds interesting enough anyways to be made.
