Thanks to PopSugar, we now have the first photo of Johnny Depp on the set of "The Rum Diary," which is currently shooting in Miami. Click on the picture below to enlarge.
"Diary" is an adaptation of Hunter S. Thompson's novel about a washed-up, hard-drinking journalist named Paul Kemp (Depp) in 1950s Puerto Rico. Aaron Eckhart is also onboard to play Sanderson, a wealthy landowner who believes everything has a price and introduces Kemp to a different standard of living.
Eckhart is part of a love triangle that sees him vying with Depp for Amber Heard's affection. Richard Jenkins is playing Lotterman, the man who oversees the rundown newspaper where Kemp works.

yes it might be but are you sure that is his real hair. they do some really different things with wigs. they have some that ont look like you have a wig on at all.

I wish I was a chach ball so I could pull off some shades like those, hahaha. Why are they shooting in Miami if it is set in Puerto Rico? Old San Juan is beautiful, I hope they will at least shoot some of the film there.
