Sam Raimi Started Writing "Evil Dead 4"Posted: March 27th, 2009 by WorstPreviews.com Staff

Empire magazine chatted with director Sam Raimi (Spider-Man), who revealed that he has started work on a script for the fourth installment in the "Evil Dead" franchise.
"We've got nine pages so far," he told Empire. "Every time I'm with my brother Ivan, we write another page of it. It's in Detroit and in my garage."
So what's in the script so far? "There's some dialogue. Ash being an idiot. Ash taking some abuse. Some character stuff and then some structure of Act Two. Just other possibilities for things that could happen. It's ideas, jokes, things we'd like to see," said Raimi.
He also confirmed that the script is being written with Bruce Campbell in mind to reprise the iconic role of Ash.

Awesome! Although I typically hate the "young prodigy" storyline. I've always had this idea that Ash could have a son who he could teach the ways of Deadite killing. I think Matt Dillon would be a shoe-in and also provide some more comic magic.
