"Kennedys" Mini-Series to Reveal Darker SideSubmit Comment
President Barack Obama can't go two minutes without mentioning President John F Kennedy and how much the man accomplished during his two years in office. But now, "24" co-creator Joel Surnow will do his best to reveal the darker side of Kennedy and his family.

Surnow, who is active in conservative politics, has announced that he is currently hard at work on a 10-hour mini-series called "The Kennedys," which is sure to stir up controversy in the US.

The mini-series will explore "the soiled and crooked steps" the family took to get to the White House. "It also tells the historical stories that are associated with the Kennedy era -- the Bay of Pigs, the Missile Crisis, the civil rights struggle, the mob connection -- each one told in the context of personal, Kennedy-family dramas."

Muse is in talks with at least one cable network to air the history-minded drama, which has a budget of $30 million.

Good. At least some conservatives are able to create things and actually have their voice heard. Go 24 and go Joel!

I can't wait for the REAGAN biopic that tears him down. Remember kids, he was a Democrat till he started getting his d*ck sucked by a Republican! And he was a racist! Ow and it was the de-regulation of Reaganomics that got us into the clusterf*ck we are in today. But hey, he is the guy that gets every Rethuglican I know a woody. As a history major I like to see things as a whole. Politicians painted in a certain light really tick me off. They may be doing this on the Kennedys and I look forward to watching it and critiquing it. I just can't wait till a lefty filmmaker grows the balls to do the same treatment to Reagan.

I can't argue with facts, ever. Nor am I a Dem or Rep or any other party for arguments' sake. But in saying all that, Kennedy was a modern day Republican in actuality in his policies, period. When Dems praise him I laugh because you can see how politicians, Dems here as an example and on both sides really, just love bending history for their agendas.
