"X-Men 2" Writer Signs On for "DanteSubmit Comment
Dan Harris (X-Men 2, Superman Returns) has been set by Universal Pictures to write "Dante's Inferno," a live-action film based on the Electronic Arts video game in which players journey through the depths of hell.

Universal acquired the title in the fall in a four-studio (Universal, Paramount New Regency, MGM) bidding battle before the EA game even had a formal title.

Not much is known about the movie right now, except that it will be a modern interpretation of the epic poem. So to make up for the lack of details, take a look at the recently released cinematic trailer for the game.

I hate everything Dan Harris has done. If this movie had any potential to begin with I know it is gone and the movie will be terrible now.

f*ck EA games, they should have the to make a Dead Space movie, the game is cinematic already and would be f*ckin' awesome to see the gore fest.

^^ Yeah like that will ever happen. Just look at the Resident Evil movies and Silent Hill. Both pretty graphic games and then PG-13 movies. But Dead Space would be awesome if they did make it blood and guts.

Actually I heard something about a Dead Space movie, just a rumor, but it is supouse to link the first movie and the sequel. Anyway, should be awesome.
