Bloody-Disgusting is reporting that Evan Charnov (Fearless) has been hired by Warner Premiere to write the third installment in "The Lost Boys" franchise. The new film will obviously go straight to DVD, just like the incredibly successful sequel did last year.
Corey Feldman will return to produce "The Lost Boys 3" in addition to reprising his role as vampire hunter Edgar Frog. Moviehole has added that Jamison Newlander will also return as Alan Frog in the threequel that will focus on the Frog brothers.
Newlander appeared in the 1987 original, directed by Joel Schumacher, but was edited out of the sequel. And even though the second movie hinted at a possible battle between Edgar Frog and Sam Emerson (Corey Haim), Haim isn't expected to return for "Lost Boys 3."

Ok, Lost Boys 2 sucked on so many different levels but Corey was HILARIOUS. I would love to see a third just to get more of Edgar Frog. And BREALZ, the sweaty saxophone guy was in the 2nd one. He was still sweaty and playing a sax but not quite in the same shape as he was in the 80's haha.
