"The Birds" Remake to be in 3-DPosted: February 28th, 2009 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
Brenna Lee Roth has revealed to MarketSaw that the upcoming remake of Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" could end up being in 3-D. "I am in talks with the producer of 'The Birds' and he said he wanted to do it 3D," she explained. "But I don't really know any more about it."
Roth also confirmed that both George Clooney (Burn After Reading) and Naomi Watts (Eastern Promises) are attached to star with Brad Fuller and Michael Bay producing.
"The Birds" revolves around a wealthy San Francisco playgirl who pursues a potential boyfriend to a small Northern California town that slowly takes a turn for the bizarre when birds of all kinds suddenly begin to attack people there in increasing numbers and with increasing viciousness.

What the hell are you talking about? The original is in color! And what happened to Martin Campbell directing? Michael Bay is gonna ruin any chance this has of being good. We need Tippi Hedren to make some comments I think she has said something before about this remake.

I have a feeling people will laugh at this. It's not 1963 anymore and most people won't be scared by birds.....even if they are in 3D.

3-D is bullshit, stop making films into 3-D. That being said I think it could be a decent enough remake.
