ok...i can understand the transition from dvd to blu ray for this movie...but i already have the dvd and i'm not about ready to spend 35 bucks on a movie i already have...plus it's made plenty of money...not like it's hurtin for more...although i guess i'm wrong since they're heavily advertising it...funny that T1 or T3 didn't get the same promotion as T2...i could care less for T3...but T1 was just AMAZING....great effects, storyline, and technology pulled off for its time

T2 was the best of all 3 so far, a classic

Very excited to see this on Blu-Ray. The collector's set seems excessive though - why not compile all of the features onto the Blu-Ray version? Does anyone really need two different versions of the DVD as well as the Blu-Ray? Seems like it would be cheaper for the studio to just release a nice Blu-Ray set than spend money to manufacture more obsolete versions of the film.

What a waste. Why not just make a T1/T2 boxset with all versions, outtakes, extras PLUS the T2: 3D Battle Across Time. No need to add T3 as that has been written off as it should. Then again it's like an alternate reality no? Whatever we shall see when all is said and done with this new trilogy.

seriously i am never buying a DVD again. For all of you collectors out there, if you must own the "ultimate" edition...newsflash....there will never be one! there will always be another copy that will come out with an extra 10 seconds of footage that you must see!!
