Leaked Document Reveals 2009 Oscar Winners

Leaked Document Reveals 2009 Oscar WinnersSubmit Comment
By now, many of you have already heard of a "leaked" list floating around the internet, which claims to know the winners of the upcoming Academy Awards. While the list is likely very fake, nobody knows for sure. So just for fun, I thought I would post the "winners" and you guys can find out tomorrow how real or fake the list really is.

Academy spokesman Leslie Unger recently commented on the "leaked" document, which features an authentic-looking letterhead. She said that "the document is a complete fraud" and that votes were still being counted by the event's matriculators, PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

By looking at the list, you can see that "Slumdog Millionaire" will win for Best Picture, Heath Ledger for Best Supporting Actor and Danny Boyle for Best Director. Click on the picture below to enlarge the list.

Everything for the most part looks in order. I'd certainly love to see McDonagh win for "In Bruges." But I can say with about 90% certainty that Amy Adams will not win sh*t. There are others in the category more deserving. It's the one weak article to an otherwise credible list.

While it may be fake, the winners make sense to me. A couple surprises, but that isn't unexpected for the Oscars.

Yes Slumdog! Shame The Dark Knight wasn't even nominated, or Gran Torino or The Wrestler. At least Rourke wins! Is this even real or are these my fantasy picks?

The top address and number seem to be accurate. And All these winners seem to be in order. Of course Dark Knight wins sound mixing, cuz it's a useless category. Although I wonder if this is just a mock up list based off of the one the odd makers in Vegas are using.

There's no way The Reader gets best adapted screenplay. Not a chance. Also, Milk for film editing? Don't think so either. Slumdog will likely take that.

Right, like an amateur Photoshop user couldn't fake this letter in about ten minutes. Strange the paper creases fit nice and neat between the lines of text, and the wrinkled paper doesn't destort the text. Fake!

And where the hell is the Best Motion Picture of the Year? Somebody just went down the list here http://www.imdb.com/Sections/Awards/Academy_Awards_USA/2009 and picked their favs.

atleast Heath Ledger won again (whether this is real or not) whoo! whoo! yes!

well, if this is real, then i have lost all faith in the academy and will never watch the oscars again. button was much better thab slumdog, and ledger should not win that supporting actor award. boyle as director is ridiculous as fincher has established himself as much more worthy with se7en and zodiac alone. im glad to see rourke win as well as wall-e (esp. for sound mixing) and as much as i love iron man and the effects were incredible, button is no doubt the most deserving film in that category, just like transformers was last year.

here is the giveaway that it is fake...waltzing with bashir is not the foreign language winner
