Dr. Gordon is Back in "Saw VI"?Posted: February 19th, 2009 by WorstPreviews.com Staff

Bloody-Disgusting is reporting that they have been hearing lots of rumors that Cary Elwes may reprise his role as Dr Gordon in the upcoming sixth installment of "Saw."
Then a scooper sent in a video from his Xbox, which offered "Saw V" for download but did not contain the correct description of the film. Here is what the incorrect description said:
"One man. One plan. One foot. Yes, the doctor is in! With a strange twist of fate and a revengeful plot, get ready for the most anticipated event of Saw. Face your fears at his operating table. Know that no one is safe from his sickness. Chills and screams are his true pleasure. Oh...and Blood? You'll be drenched in it."
It is being assumed that this description is for "Saw VI," which will apparently bring back Dr. Gordon. It is also possible that it is for the upcoming "Saw" game, which will tie into the film's release in October. Either way, it seems that Lionsgate is planning to bring back Dr. Gordon.

He was amazing in the first 'Saw' - too bad it took this long to bring him back. I just hope the rumour is true.

who effing knows with the SAW films, I love them all because although you may not consider the "horror" you gotta give it up for brilliant plot twisting writing. I think the only reason people hate them is because they can not either take the gore or not follow the plot.

Definitely not the best actor, but a very like-able guy and character, I've skipped the past few Saws, but this will bring back anyone who saw the first one no question.

To be completely honest the reason it took him so long to come back is because he's dead, if he's back it's only in flashbacks! If you look close enough you can find out all the things you don't think have been explained. In Saw V there's a scene where Strahm looks at a list of previous Jigsaw cases and Dr Gordons name appears as deceased on this list, it's hard to spot but if you look hard enough it IS there! Bear in mind if he'd survived the first film he'd have taken the police back to the room, they'd have saved adam, and in the second film they'd have known where it was, meaning mathews couldn't wind up getting trapped in there! It's sad cos I like everyone else wanted to see him come back but he had to die in the first film for the plot to work unfortunately, sorry to break the news like that to you all, but that's how it has to be!
