20th Century Fox has put together three special sixty-second spots of "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" and set them to debut during Fox shows. The first one, entitled "Outcasts," appeared during "Family Guy" today and you can check it out by clicking on the link below.

The second TV spot will appear on Monday (February 16th) during "House" and then the third on Tuesday (February 17th) during "American Idol." After all three are revealed, they will be combined and then officially released online.

"X-Men Origins: Wolverine," the first chapter in the X-Men saga, unites Wolverine with several other legends of the X-Men universe, in an epic revolution that pits the mutants against powerful forces determined to eliminate them.

These days it's kind of like studios look at the movie as the director's cut of the commercials...Still, I'm looking forward to this.

I know this will get a lot of flack for not being true to the comic, but it looks good all the same to me.

Logan's real name is James Howlett.. at least they got that part right.

What the hell? Thought I knew the story but I guess not. In the 3 x-men movies he was called "Logan", so how can they change his name? I'm confused.

He takes the name of Logan (long story..think James Ford/Sawyer from Lost) but his real names is as stated above, "James Howlett"

**Potential SPoiler** In the Origin series, wasn't Logan the maintenance man for the rich Howletts who had a scruffy son named who everyone called Dog and the rich folk had the son James who was always sick and alergic to evrything, so the whole first part of the story you think it's Dog who eventually becomes Wolverine, but it's in fact James who finds out he's "different' when he witnesses Logan shoot his father and attacks the man. He gets banished and runs off with Rose, the girl that goes to live with them, which by the looks of things they've changed to make it Dog, ie sabretooth, that runs off with James?
