Michael Bay Shares New "Transformers 2" InfoSubmit Comment
During the "Friday the 13th" premiere, Collider had the chance to speak to Michael Bay, who revealed a few bits of information about "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen."

Bay said that the new film will have three IMAX scenes. "We've done three scenes in IMAX," he revealed. "They look pretty awesome. It's different when you see Optimus Prime fighting in IMAX."

He added that thanks to new technology the robots will have much more personality. The new film will also be darker. "I know the fans wanted it darker. It's darker."

Bay is currently thirteen weeks into editing the film, with a current runtime of 2 hours and 20 minutes. He made sure to add that he will keep making cuts and expects the movie to end up a bit shorter.

Finally, will Bay return for a potential third "Transformers" film? "I can see myself doing a third," he said. "I just want to take a year off before doing a third. See how the second does."

Only 3 scenes in imax? Bahaha! Quick, everyone line up to take off the success of another. Next they'll announce Harry Potter is filming with imax- oh wait

Imax tech has been around for a decade and now finally, everyone is jumping at the chance to use imax, it's no big deal.

Schwasted...either they're too stupid to notice or it just didn't register in their head till later...but this isn't new news to me...i already read an article that said Bay was gonna have 3 scenes in imax like weeks ago...but he's thinkin good though...see how the 2nd one does before thinkin about making a 3rd...which it will i'm sure...but then it'll have as much reason as the batman franchise to make another....but at least they're good sequels...not like ace ventura 3 or son of the mask lol
