Hi-Res "Transformers 2" Screencaps, Plus SpoilerSubmit Comment
Thanks to JoBlo, we now have twelve hi-res screen captures from the recently released "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" Super Bowl trailer. If you have yet to see the trailer, see it here, and then scroll down to see the photos.

Looking at the images, you can see a giant Constructicon that will join eight other robots to form Devastator. Also, there are a few shots of a badly hurt Optimus Prime and IESB has some news as to what exactly happens there.

SPOILERS AHEAD:

An extra from the set revealed that he played a Navy Seal doing battle with the Decepticons. "I had to chase a bunch of villagers out of the area because the Decepticons were attacking, then had to protect Optimus Prime's corpse. There were a sh*tload of us out there."

if you saw the super-bowl ad, u see Shia LaBeouf get tortured by starscreen (probably gonna incorperate his lost apendage with that). looks bad-ass, hope to see more people get merked

Ref: Spoiler - Sounds like Michael Bay tricks, knowing that the extras would run their mouth. Since Optimus Prime is CG, I don't see how they physically knew they were 'guarding' his body and just had to go by what was said.

Pembrokehawk, that is the smartest thing anyone has said on these message boards in months.

Thanks Blank x2. Michael Bay is a tricky one, spreading his counterintelligence. I also think Autiger10 is correct about the Shia LaBeouf injury.

It's just nice to see somebody saying something relevant. I mean, if people didn't like the first one, and they think or know they won't like the second one, they why exactly are they reading the breaking news and watching all the clips? Makes no sense.

I thought in the trailer that starscream was megatron. Obviously I was wrong. I really hope they don't cut him out of the movie, even though we have seen pics of him as the tank.

I don't believe the 'extra' claimed that he was guarding a physical body of Prime, but instead that was his scripted role during the shooting of the scenes. Prime looks pretty messed up, and killing him as a seque into a cliffhanger would set up the third film intensely.

"(probably gonna incorperate his lost apendage with that)." Lebeouf did NOT LOSE ANY FINGERS. He had surgery and wore a cast. That's it. Stop spreading these rumors that started right after his accident. It's a well known fact that his injury was to be incorporated into the film, so a scene with him getting injured (but not losing fingers) was absolutely certain.

Anyone care to shed light on that dog/lion/tiger looking Transformer?

I would imagine thats Ravage.

It's one of the animal autobots. They had a whole feature about it on the Transformers 2nd disc. I think Scorponok was part of that collection.
