Brendan Fraser's Next Family Comedy

Posted: January 27th, 2009 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
Brendan FraserSubmit Comment
Brendan Fraser (The Mummy) will star in and Roger Kumble will direct "Furry Vengeance," a live-action family comedy that will start production by early summer.

Fraser will play a real estate developer whose new housing subdivision pushes far into a pristine part of the Oregon wilderness, pitting the developer against a band of angry critters.

Script was penned by Michael Carnes and Josh Gilbert, who wrote "Mr. Woodcock" together. Kumble most recently directed the comedies "College Road Trip" and "Just Friends."

Watchable, yes, enjoyable, no.

he should join sean astin and pauly shore for another comedy movie for old times sake

He should join the cast of the new Goonies. Or something. He went from enjoyable to exasperating somewhere after the first Mummy. Like Inkheart and JTTCOTE was worth your time or mine.

it wasn't lol...i only saw a trailer for inkheart...looked too much like the storyline from spiderwick chronicles...i think everyone is really startin to miss the 90s bigtime...myself included...it just seems things were so much better then...movies...games...activities...life...everything heh

LOL, funny. I think the same about the 80's. The early nineties were good too, but things rolled down hill toward the millennium. Movies, music. Everything.

u know....i have one thing to say about that....our fathers and their fathers before them and so on and so forth...have been fighting to give our generation and future generations a better, peaceful place....so wtf are we still doin fightin??!! lol

He sure likes to go back & forth in his roles with safe picture - hard picture. Journey to the End of the Night was great! he did a damn good job in it.

"...pitting the developer against a band of angry critters." It was about here where you lost me. PASS.

Nice to see he's following Eddie Murphy's career path of animated guest vocals and Family Comedies.

family comedies is precisely where failed action actors go to die.
