Johnny Knoxville is Detained for Bringing a Grenade to the AirportSubmit Comment
Johnny Knoxville (Jackass) was detained for allegedly bringing an inactive grenade into Los Angeles Airport.

After security screeners spotted the grenade in his carry-on luggage, a bomb squad determined it lacked a firing pin or explosive. Police say Knoxville was later released and allowed to board an American Airlines flight to Miami.

Lawyers will decide whether to charge the 38-year-old with bringing a prohibited item into a secure area of the airport.

Knoxville, whose real name is Philip John Clapp, told officers the grenade was a prop he forgot to remove from his bag, an airport spokesperson said.

Maybe this was secretly filmed, for another Jackass movie.

That's what I'm thinking.

Idiot. How do you not know you have a f*cking faux grenade in your suitcase? Knoxville isn't famous enough to have someone else do the packing, so how can he say he forgot the damned thing? On the other hand, filing charges against him is almost as large a miscarriage of justice as filing charges for underage 'sexting'.

How famous do you have to be for someone else to pack your bag? And Minkowski, you know damn well how old that girl was and you should have left her alone when she asked. getting indignant won't make those charges go away.

Idiot. As I typed the last line, I wondered which keyboard stroking moron would entirely miss the point. Read here http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/28679588/. Children, really, are facing charges that may well ruin their lives just because they sent *gasp* nude images to other underage recipients. They're facing child pornography charges. WTF is the matter with this country, and why hasn't the rest of the world totally avoided us? I would. How are these kids going to explain their records to college admissions? What a f*cked up world. Murderers get parole, kids get railroaded. Some justice. And Knoxville is just an obvious idiot.

the jackass guys would never do that for a bit. they're dumb but not that dumb its just a mistake. it shouldn't even matter.

Johnny Knoxville and Jackass is like a dieing fad to me. There like "tickle me" Elmo, at first you couldn't get enough of it and now it's just f*cking annoying.

Hey, I accedentally brought my screwdriver in my carry-on bag because I was in a rush to catch my plane. It is an understandable mix up, he probably wanted to put it in his check-in bag.
