"Wolverine" Doing Extensive Re-Shoots

"Wolverine" Doing Extensive Re-ShootsSubmit Comment
We all previously heard that 20th Century Fox is not letting director Gavin Hood make "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" the way he wants to. Instead, Fox co-chairman and CEO Tom Rothman has been taking Hood's sets and modifying them.

Now, Collider is reporting that the film has been going through some massive re-shoots in Vancouver. These re-shoots are so extensive that it might take several weeks to complete. This kind of news is almost never good, but surprisingly Fox has been inviting the press to cover these new shoots. I guess the studio is trying to pretend that nothing is wrong.

"X-Men Origins: Wolverine" is set to appear in theaters on May 1st, so there is very little time left to complete the film. I doubt the studio would push back the release date, so let's just hope that we get a good final product, rather than a rushed mess.

Not suprised!....Fox is always known for screwing up their on movies by dictating everything just cause they have the power to do so but that doesn't make ir right!....Just let the freakin director do his f*cken job for once!

Oh man...Fox is gonna ruin yet another movie. I really thought this was going to be good, but it seems as though I thought wrong. I wonder if the re-shoots are because the stuido wasnt happy or the director wasnt happy.

If David Fincher was directing this and FOX tried to do the sh*t they are doing to Gavin hoodm Fincher would rip off their balls with his bare hands!

Fox sucks cox.

Seriously, who isn't tired enough of this sh*t, and Rothman especially?

f*ck you fox! regardless however, this will be an awesome film and with these re-shoots it might end up being even more the way he wanted it to end up.

Hood's not requesting re-shoots, Space. This isn't to HIS benefit, but he'll still responsible for making the final product decent or not. If he can't do it, it's understandable, but the more power to him if he can pull it off.

they were talking about shooting more scenes MONTHS ago! this is not news. you guys are over reacting, including whoever reported this...

How all of you know they are making it worse? maybe they're trying to fix some of Gavin Hood's mistakes. After all, saying about him that he's a bad director would be an understatement. And don't even mention his oscar for Totsi cause it was a stupid film and the academy just didn't want to mess with all the jews in hollywood and give the oscar to Palestine.

Anyone wondering if maybe Ironman and DK have raised the bar a bit, and they're just a bit worried it might not stand up? Seriously, would you wanna follow either of those movies? Still, as long as Hugh Jackman is still Wolverine, it can't be all that bad.
