McG Considering Linda Hamilton for "Terminator Salvation"

McG Considering Linda Hamilton for "Terminator Salvation"Submit Comment
ComingSoon had the chance to catch up with "Terminator Salvation" director McG to find out whether he is planning to do a recap of the first three "Terminator" films in the beginning of "Salvation."

McG revealed that he is still trying to figure out the details, but one option is to have Sarah Connor do a voiceover to open the movie. That raises a question whether Linda Hamilton will be asked to come on or would a soundalike be hired?

While we don't have many answers, Hamilton representatives previously revealed that she would love to come onboard. "I can tell you that Linda is a big fan of T1 and T2 and would be very interested in hearing about participating in the new film."

It seems like everything is all set for Hamilton to do a brief introduction in "Salvation" and there is no doubt that fans would appreciate the extra effort.

Do you want to see Hamilton in "Salvation"?

I thought it was stupid to ever have her be dead in the first place. But yes, this would be awesome.

I wanna see her in this movie. I loved the first two and want to go on pretending the third movie, or 'F@#KIN' PIECE OF GARBAGE' as I like to call it, was just a bad dream that John Conner had at some point in his life.

Maybe they can pull a Dallas, in which John Connor walks out of the shower and realizes Terminator 3 was a long, long bad dream ...

What a great casting choice. If she really liked T1 and T2 all that much, she must be perfect for the role.

Come on people, Terminator 3 was extra hiper duper awesome!!! "the end of the world is today three hours from now" geez the coolest movie of 2003 except maybe for Return of the king. and yes it would be extra awesome to have linda hamilton back.

Sure. It won't hurt. Not sure if I will like the incongruities between T1/T2 and Terminator: Salvation, incongruities caused by hearing Hamilton's voice on a movie I like to pretend has little to nothing to do with the first two films.

For a voiceover or flashback, yes put her in. To have her in a large role would take away from John Connor's story. Tastefully done, having her in the movie would be awesome
