The trailer for the upcoming Ryan Phillippe sci-fi flick "Franklyn" has been released. The film is a split narrative set simultaneously in contemporary London and in a future metropolis ruled by religious fervor. It's the story of four lost souls, divided by two parallel worlds, on course for an explosive collision when a single bullet will decide all their fates.
Phillippe plays Preest, a masked vigilante detective searching for his nemesis on the streets of Meanwhile City. Bernard Hill plays Esser, a broken man searching for his wayward son amongst the rough streets of London's homeless. Sam Riley plays Milo, a heartbroken thirty-something desperately trying to find a way back to the purity of first love. Eva Green plays Emilia, a beautiful art student; her suicidal art projects are becoming increasingly more complex and deadly.
"Franklyn" is written and directed by Gerald McMorrow, who is making his feature film debut. It is set to appear in the UK on February 20th and will likely not appear in US theaters.

So Rorschach goes to Dark City. Got it.

Looks interesting. ELOFG meets Dark City meets Sky Capatain, or someting like that. I was never a fan of Phillipe, even though people in my age group sh*t their pants with Cruel Intentions. And let's face it. Breach was more boring than the Robert Hanssen doc*mentary, and Phillipe's acting follows suit. maybe this film can change all that, but I doubt it.

Very 28 Days Later-ish music.

That was a complete rip off the music from 28 Days Later. I would see this for Eva Green hopefully that music isn't in the movie, even the piano melody at the very end is too similar to 28...
