Christopher Nolan Nominated for DGA Awards

Christopher Nolan Nominated for DGA AwardsSubmit Comment
Yesterday "The Dark Knight" was nominated by the WGA (Writers Guild of America) for the Best Adapted Screenplay. Before that, PGA (Producers Guild of America) nominated "The Dark Knight" for Best Picture. And today, Christopher Nolan has been nominated for the Best Director award by the DGA (Director's Guild of America).

Here is the list of nominees for the DGA Award.

* David Fincher (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button)

* Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight)

* Ron Howard (Frost/Nixon)

* Gus Van Sant (Milk)

* Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire)

It seems like the same movies are being nominated, which means that there is a good chance that all five of these will end up nominated for the Oscars as well.

Any thoughts which film will win Best Picture during the Oscars?

It's gonna be between Danny Boyle and Christopher Nolan. Everyone else had their shot and now it's time for someone new to win.

Christopher Nolan should win it. im not talking just out of hype and stuff. Nolan has proven to be a great director plus he actually transformed batman into an academy award contender. i mean, who ever thought people would ever consider a batman film for such awards right? Danny Boyle is a great director also, its just that slumdog is the typical film oscar awards on a regular basis. Ron Howard? he should have won for Apollo 13. i mean he did win the DGA how come these f*ckers at the academy snubbed him? and for mel gibson?

first off MRW007 just shut up!! your words are so retarded im almost ashamed to share the same earth as you. Ron Howard did make one of the best films ever (beautiful mind) in my opinion but thts it. Fincher should have already won for fight club or Seven. & Nolan WILL get an oscar im willing to bet my D*ck on it(not 4 batman tho, his Masterpeice is still to come).. Boyle though should be the one to take it tho because Slumdog Millionaire was a force to be reckoned with.
