"Marley & Me" Billboards Spray-Painted to Reveal Ending

Posted: December 14th, 2008 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
"Marley & Me" Billboards Spray-Painted to Reveal EndingSubmit Comment
We just received an email from a reader, who says that billboards in Los Angeles for the upcoming "Marley & Me" movie, starring Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson, have been sprayed with graffiti to reveal the film's ending.

I won't spoil anything for you here, but you can clicking on the pictures below to see what was spray-painted on the billboards.

We are not the only ones who have received this email, which makes some think that this could be 20th Century Fox's twisted marketing campaign. Some have suggested that the photos were photoshopped. But if you look at the pictures closely, the letters do not look similar, which makes me think that this is authentic vandalism.

Could Fox be possibly behind this?

it's OWEN Wilson, not Luke.

that's awesome, crappy movies should always be desecrated.

Horrible World we live in. It should more like, "Worst Preview's Ruins the ending for reporting on it!"

Hey, if you didn't wanna see how it ended then you shouldn't have opened the pictures. Simple as that. And that is kind of a d*ck move, spray-painting it up there like that. But at the same time, it's pretty funny.

That's funny. This will probably make a lot of cash. Shame The Darjeeling Limited didn't. Owen Wilson is awesome when not doing Drillbit Taylor.

Thank you spray painters, you've just convinced me not to go see this movie. I hate when animals and children die in movies... :[

This is hilarious. It's like Snape kills Dumbledore only for a stupid holiday movie. And if someone gets mad at me for spoiling that one at this point, seriously now. Also, I know it's an adaptation but that's a pretty morbid ending for a holiday movie.

That is by far the FUNNIEST thing I have seen done to the industry all year. Please tell me they're all from different parts of the country- like a mass graffiti conspiracy...only in America hahahahahahaha
